I can't believe I did this.......

I have gone completely nuts making rag quilts. Dixie brought over a shower
gift for Brandi, in it was 4 cute recieving blankets. I looked at them and thought,
wow, that would make a cute baby rag quilt, and commenced cutting them into quilting squares. Can't wait to see what the quilt looks like........this is what her recieving blankets look like now.........sorry Brandi and Addy.

My Mom's machine

When I decided to start sewing rag quilts, totes and any thing else i can make
by ragging, I dug out my Mom's sewing machine. I haven't sewn anything since my 20's. I had no instructions with the machine, so I dug into my memories and threaded the machine. That was a challenge for sure. It took several attempts, but I did it!! I have ordered an instruction book for this machine off the net, but it hasn't come yet. I even put in a zipper!! I was amazed.
