I figured out the problem

I figured out my problem though. I was putting the cap on the thread spool tight as it would go. and it was causing too much tension that couldnt be adjusted. I am so
happy it was a little thing....Thanks to Cyndy and September for trying to help, I really appreciate your suggestions and help.
