To look at my embroidered apron pictures. My new Babylock Ellure Plus fell apart yesterday. Now I have a $1500.00 piece of junk. I sure hope they honor their warranty. I am going to be sitting on the dealers door step Monday morning. Delaying the start of our trip, while I deal with him. What a way to start the week and the vacation.
I then got out my Mom's Necchi and it broke. I am beginning to think my sewing and my cooking are the same thing. Oh well......
Besides that, we had a fairly good July 4th. We went to Otis's brother's house and he cooked hamburgers out side. Then came home and I sit in the driveway with our neighbor, Jessie, and watched the big fireworks show at Nelson Park.
Today, we went to my cousin, Pete's house for a big BBQ feast, catered by Sharon Riley. Pete always goes all out for family and it was great. Except, that my Dad fell backwards off the picnic table bench. Otis grabbed him and kept him from falling real hard, but it scared all of us. Dad said he saw Otis sitting next to him in a chair with a back on it and he thought he had one, he didn't, when he leaned back, there was nothing to hold him, down he went. I was holding my great grandbaby, feeding her, and I saw Dad fall. I nearly through Addy up in the air. My Dad is getting worse and worse, it makes me so sad. Then I discovered that Otis was hurt from trying to catch Dad and keeping him from falling. But both are fine now........I hope.
I can't wait to leave Monday, I need some time off. In fact, Otis and I both do. so there won't be any posting for the next 2 weeks.....I will be sitting under the awning of our RV sipping something good and relaxing :) .........then when the reunion is over, it's off to the coast. Can't wait to eat shrimp and walk the beach and stick my feet in the sand.

Jeri,
So sorry to hear about Dale and your machine. A little bad luck lately! Sorry we missed you all on the 4th. Relax and enjoy your vacation! You deserve it!!!!
Ouch for your dad and Otis. Hope the injuries were minor and short term. Boy you do need time away, for sure. Have fun and enjoy.
Good luck with the sewing machine. My luck wit computers doesn,t sound so bad after all. Hang in there Jeri. Will miss you for sure while you are gone. love September
What did the dealer say about your machine? What a bummer!
The dealer still has my machine. He can't find anything wrong with it so far. Hard for me to believe that it fixed itself....LOL..Hopefully I will get it tomorrow because I am having raggy tote withdrawals.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Hugs,
Jeri
My Babylock is now fixed and sewing great! I think it was the operator (me) the whole time, I just didn't know what I was doing.
